Playing with my cousins

One afternoon this past week Bo and I went by GiGi's house to visit with some of his cousins. He had a blast playing with everyone and loved the attention. The girls were great babysitters!

Happy Fathers Day

Daddy's Little DAWG!!!

We had a great Father's Day. We went to church this morning and then had lunch at Bo's great grandmother Wilma's house with our family. Below are some pictures from today.

A Great Babysitter

A few days this week I had to get together with my friend Karen Masters to work on projects for our masters program (we graduate in July). Her daughter Mary Ellen helped with Bo. She had lots of fun feeding him and playing with him. She is a great babysitter!

My Trip to the Lake

This past week we rode with Pam and Rachel to the Lake. Gi Gi and Pop were there for the week. While we were there Pop had a birthday. Below is a slide show of our trip.

Vacation Bible School

This weekend Bo attended his very first VBS. He of course stayed in the nursery (which I helped keep). His cousin Ava was also there and he enjoyed spending time with her. I snapped a few pictures along the way. In the pictures below I had propped Bo up next to Ava to take a picture of them both. He however fell over on top of her and it made for a good cheek to cheek pose.

In the two pictures below, Bo was sitting with Mrs. Jackie and talking/playing with Ava. Ava however decided his paci looked really good and got a hold of it. I did not get a picture of the next scene, but it was Ava succeeding in stealing Bo's paci and putting it in her own mouth while he screamed. It was SO FUNNY!

Bo's aunt Pam was in a competition this weekend to raise money for our missionaries. She represented the girls team . The team that raised the least was supposed to kiss a goat, however even though the girls won, Pam was gracious and both her and the boys representative kissed the goat. Below is a picture of Pam with Bo.

Bo's grandfather has several goats at his house and volunteered to bring one for the event. Pam brushed his teeth, washed him off, and brushed his hair first. Below is the goat with Bo's grandaddy, daddy, and aunt Pam before the big kiss.

This weekend was a blast and Bo seemed to have lots of fun socializing with other babies. We are proud to announce that he also started a new trend of sleeping 10 hours at night! This began after Bible school on Friday, and was a repeat last night. We are hoping this is here to stay!

3 Months!!!

We cannot believe that Bo is 3 months old now! He is growing so fast! I am just so glad that I can be off this summer and spend time with him. Bo is beginning to show some personality and play with us. He loves to dance! He thinks it is so funny if you sit him up, take him by both hands and make him dance. I will have to post a picture or video of him in action soon. Below is a picture of Bo sitting in the recliner.

Today Bo was able to spend some quality time with his cousin Burch . Burch helped babysit and then Mommy, Bo, GiGi and Burch went to Taco Bell for lunch. Below is a picture of Burch and Bo at lunch (Bo of course fell asleep).

This afternoon Bo and I went swimming. Our friends across the street have a pool and have offered to let us come swim several times. As the temperature outside got hotter and hotter today, I was reminded just how badly my white legs and arms need a tan. So, off we went! Bo and I both got wet first and then both took naps. He laid down in his stroller in the shade, and I laid in a chair in the sun. It was GREAT! I have a feeling that we will be doing this often this summer. Below is a picture of us "swimming".
